    What are the up front costs to joining CashPundit?

    You can try CashPundit free trial for 30 days. There are no up front or setup costs for using CashPundit, you simply need to select the appropriate pricing plan and go for it. Also, there is no obligation period for using CashPundit once you have signed up.

    Is my data secure?

    We adopt industry appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, to protect your personal Information, username, password, transaction information and data stored in your user account. These security measures include: password protected directories and databases to safeguard your information or SSL (Secure Sockets Layered) technology to ensure that your information is fully encrypted and sent across the Internet securely.Our datacenters are hosted on one of the top hosting companies whose portfolio covers all three critical security areas: physical security; operational security; and system security. Physical security includes locking down and logging all physical access to servers at the data center. Operational security involves creating business processes that follow security best practices to limit access to confidential information and maintain tight security over time. System security involves locking down customer systems from the inside, starting with hardened operating systems and up-to-date patching.

    Can I cancel my trial or subscription?

    Yes, if you are the subscriber of an organization (in other words, if you set up the organization and are billed for it). If you are a trial user and you do not subscribe to the service before the end of the trial period, you account will automatically gets cancelled.

    Can I change my email address?

    Yes, you can change the email address you use to log in to CashPundit, while you’re logged in.

    How do I use a foreign currency or different exchange rates?

    If you have subscribed to a package that includes multi-currency, you can view both home-currency and foreign-currency. Remember, CashPundit syncs data with your base accounting system. If your base accounting system supports multi-currency, the same gets reflected in CashPundit.

    How long does my data stay in CashPundit?

    If you want to stop using CashPundit, you can do so at any time – there is no obligatory or contractual period. You will be billed up until the day you remove your organization. The data stays in CashPundit for 30 days after you remove your organization. In case you restart CashPundit within this 30 day period, you can start using the old data also. In case you do not restart CashPundit within these 30 days, the data will be deleted from CashPundit. No employee of CashPundit has access to your data.

    What happens if 2 users are editing at the same time?

    CashPundit allows concurrent or multiple users – any number of users can be logged into your organization at the same time and working on the same thing – whoever saves last will have their changes retained. There’s no concept of ‘locking’ a transaction in CashPundit.

    What can I do if I’m a Subscriber?

    You control who has access to your company account, and you can change what other users can do and see in CashPundit. As the Subscriber, you are responsible for paying for all the organizations under your CashPundit subscription.

    Does CashPundit own my data?

    No. You own your data. However, the Subscriber controls access to the data which is dependent on full payment of the CashPundit invoices.

    Does CashPundit have a referral program?

    No. At this point of time, CashPundit does not have a referral program.

    Can I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel my account?

    Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your account at any time. However, you will be required to pay your subscription fees until the end of the current subscription period at the existing rates. Note that, there is no obligation period for using CashPundit once you have signed up.

    What do I do if my account is past due or suspended?

    When you log into your account, you’ll see on your dashboard a reminder 7 days before the expiry of your subscription informing you to pay your subscription on or before the due date. We allow a grace period of 7 days before your account goes from “past-due” status to “suspended” status. You need to pay your subscriptions amount to get your account released from suspended status.

    How can I access all the emails that CashPundit sent out?

    Are you looking to find the emails that your CashPundit account has sent in the past? The system stores all emails that get sent out dating back 90 days. Emails older than 90 days are purged. You can see these emails under Reports Tab.

    How do I send an email to many clients?

    CashPundit at this time does not have a facility to send emails to your customers from within CashPundit. The only emails sent out to customers are automatic emails sent by CashPundit regarding statement of outstanding invoices.

    How to enter Advance Payments Expected from customers which are outside base accounting system?

    You can enter this information directly in CashPundit in the Cash Flow tab before you generate the Cash Flow. Until you delete this entry after you receive the advance payment, this amount will appear as an inflow on the expected date in the Projected Cash Flow Statement.

    How to enter projected recurring overheads and loan installments in CashPundit?

    You can enter this information directly in CashPundit in the Cash Flow tab before you generate the Cash Flow. You can enter the frequency, start date and end date for each overhead and loan installment.

    How do I let my clients know their total outstanding balance? Can I send an account statement?

    CashPundit handles account statements for you. This statement summarizes all of your customers outstanding invoices with ageing. You can generate a report in Excel or PDF format and send it to your customers. CashPundit does not send this statement automatically.

    How do I log in to CashPundit?

    Every CashPundit account has it’s own URL address that brings you to your login page. If you bookmark this login page, you’ll never have to remember it again.

    What is the “from” address on emails sent from CashPundit to my clients? Can I change it?

    At this time we do not have a facility to show that the emails sent out by CashPundit are sent out from your email ID. CashPundit sends out emails to your customers from “no-reply@cashpundit.com”. Your company’s name will appear in the subject line of the email.

    Customizations to your account can be made under relevant sub-tabs under “Settings” tab.

    How do I customize the emails templates sent by CashPundit?

    You can customize all the emails that are sent from CashPundit automatically. You can customize your email templates by following the steps below: Login to your CashPundit account. Click on your Settings link at the top-right corner of your account. In the sub-navigation bar, click on the Templates link.

    What happens if I do not pay the subscription before the due date?

    When you log into your account, you’ll see on your dashboard a reminder 7 days before the expiry of your subscription informing you to pay your subscription on or before the due date. Your account will go on hold if you do not pay the subscription amount on or before the due date. You need to pay the subscriptions amount to get your account released from hold status.

    What happens to My Accounting Software data?

    Your QuickBooks/Sage50 data will remain as it is. CashPundit does not write or enter any data in QuickBooks/Sage50. CashPundit only extracts relevant data that is required to provide you the service. The data that you enter directly in CashPundit will not be written to QuickBooks/Sage50.
